I have beginner a problem in that i need to forget and re-pair my bluetooth mate in android settings each time I use it. Selecting connect in the android settings( previously paired) does not result in the android connecting to the bluetooth mate. If i forget and pair every time i use the device it connects and i can use it.
My system is for telescope control where i connect wireless by bluetooth from android ( skysafari app) to the sparkfun mate silver. I then have a max 232 circuit which makes the connection by serial R232 cable to the serial port on my telescope hand controller. The current state is workable but it would be nice to understand how to set up the mate so I can connect with out forgetting and pairing every time.
