Did somebody knows how to hook up a temperature sensor to a Telit GM862 module?

What temperature sensor? Just a GM862 module or an eval board?
I think of DS1620 which is I2C thermometer. I read I could use 2 of Telit module GPIO pins to do I2C communication but never tried it yet.
But actually any other temperature sensor (1-Wire? Analog+ADC? etc.) would be fine. My goal is to run the Telit GM862-GPS without a external MCU and have temperature reported periodically to my web site.
Did somebody try it?
That should work, however I’m not positive as I haven’t heard of anyone ever doing so before.
It works in my GE863 based system.
