Real time pen plotter, where I can control the pen directly with a joystick or touch pad?

Hello,

I’d like to connect a joystick to a pen plotter, and “draw” from my joystick or touchpad in real time (without having to save a drawing and press “plot”).

Can someone point me to an existing setup like this, or other idea for a solution?
