remote control with 2 xbees - please help a newbie

Hello,

I am trying use a xbee attached to a PC to change IO port states and read ADC values from remote xbees.

I just got 2 XBee 2mW Series 2.5, one XBee Explorer USB and one XBee Explorer Regulated to play with.

I loaded ZIGBEE ROUTER/END DEVICE AT into one and ZIGBEE COORDINATOR AT into other one, had both with the same pan-id, defined their Node Identifiers.

And now? What else must I do? How do I check if they are associated? (there are no assoc leds on sparkfun boards)

Once they are associated, which AT commands can I use to change IO port state?

The commands are in Digi’s XBee document. Download the document from Digi International’s web site.

Check out the book “Building Wirless Sensor Networks”. It goes through setup of Series 2 modules, using the I/O pins, sleep functions, and tons of other stuff.
