Do you know if i can Replace the AS7263 sensor in the SparkFun Spectral Sensor Breakout - AS7263 NIR product (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/14351) with another sensor - AS7341 (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/15500)
Is there anything else i need to do other than just replace it physically?
Not really.
Since each chip is physically different and has a different amount of pins, there’s no way to swap one for another. Even if you could make some sort of adapter, I don’t think the firmware for one chip would even run in the other.
It would be like trying to plug a toaster into your computer. Even if the right socket existed on the computer, the computer wouldn’t know what to do with a toaster.
