I would like to create a box with a led calendar/clock display, that will open one of 12 drawers at a given date/time each month. Any advice about what hardware should run this. I am looking at the Real Time Clock (RTC) Module DS1307, but not sure how to trigger 12 different servo’s with it.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
I’d make some mechanical bar that unlocks 1, then 1 & 2, the 1 & 2 & 3 etc. Maybe the flexible tape removed from a common tape measure.
Maybe one servo and the right scheme to pull the tape in steps to unlock more drawers.
Not 12 servos.
Thanks for taking the time to reply. Yes I like the idea of one servo control. I just ordered a few different things to try out, one of them being a miniature coke vending machine. Throw on some lights and vibrating motors and lookout lol.
