RFID,RF transmitters and impact of the electromagnetic field

Hi everyone!

I had a short question regarding RFID card readers and RF transmitters/receivers. As far as I understand these devices create an electromagnetic field around them. I am wondering whether it is safe to put f.ex. an RFID tag reader ([link) or an RF transmitter ([link) in very close proximity to a harddrive or any other powered on and functioning computer equipment?

The only issue is putting a receiver close to a computer/processor or consumer electronics which can produce interference.
