RN131 WiFly UART trouble

I am sending data from an ATmega1281, currently just a few characters with no hardware control.

No matter what BAUD I use the characters are corrupted.

I have checked on a scope that the characters are arriving at the WiFly RCX pin correctly, but they arrive on my host machine over WiFi with either the MSb or the two MSb’s set.

Has anyone any experience of this?

I cannot find very detailed data about the RN131’s uart.

SOLVED … was using the wrong clock source. :oops:

I have the same issue , how you solved that problem ?

could you kindly please confirm me when your WiFly power up then what are the voltage on TX pin of your module i have RN-131C Shield and i am unable to interface with PC using MAX232 / 3.3V TTL level converter.
