Roshamglo and wrong link

Hello all,

I really tried to find Forum regarding: Roshamglo, deprecated, outlet or something similar but it looks that those are really old things here.

I got one Roshamglo and wanted to convert it to TV-B-gone (thanks Mitch Altman!) but the link provided in “Hacking Roshamglo” regarding connecting Arduino IDE is simply wrong:

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/spark … index.json

gives 404

Can anybody provide a valid json file link so that Roshamglo can be connected to Arduino IDE? I tried to find a solution on eBay from a people who are still selling Roshamglo but they give me the link to the same site (hacking R) with a wrong link. Nothing useful came out of it.

https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/ha … mglo-badge and https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/ro … okup-guide might be what you’re after

(note the additional links @ each)

Well,

Answer here is the same as everywhere I ask. Nobody wants to see that link https://raw.githubusercontent.com/spark … index.json is WRONG and it gives 404. Site is: Hacking your roshamglo.

Thank you for answering without actually reading and trying to understand that I am searcing for help since OFFICIAL LINK is WRONG and GIVES 404 RESULT.

Really don’t know how to explain this to people :frowning:

Hi!

I [responded to your other thread. For anyone that is interested, try:

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/sparkfun/Arduino_Boards/tiny/IDE_Board_Manager/package_sparkfun_tiny_index.json

The boards should show up in the Boards Manager after adding that in the Additional Boards Manager URLs. I’m going to try to update the tutorial to make a note of that.](invalid package_sparkfun_index.json - SparkFun Electronics Forum)
