How to connect Roshamglo to Arduino IDE when json file is non existant?

Hello all,

I tried to find some information about how to connect Roshamglo to Arduino IDE and people are giving me a link to:

https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/ha … patibility

without first reading thins I wanted to say:

On that particular site, that particular link is NOT valid. It gives 404 so any “support” which gives a link to that site is worth as that link.

Can somebody do a real depth understanding of what is needed to connect Roshamglo sparkfun (yours!) board to Arduino IDE and that can be checked if it is REALLY working or I can just sell that nice board to eBay where are also people who are selling these board and when you asked them to connect it to Arduino IDE they answer with a same 404 link?

Sparkfun… let’s do some real help, pleaaase.

Hello. I Clicked on the link that you posted. I did not see any error. I can see a tutorial named ‘Hack Your Roshamglo Badge’. It discusses about software installation and a basic led blinking code. Are you looking for something else?

The issue was raised before on this forum. The link to the board’s package mentioned on that tutorials page is failing: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/spark … index.json. Sparkfun should have this somewhere.

Hi!

I [responded to your other thread. For anyone that is interested, try:

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/sparkfun/Arduino_Boards/tiny/IDE_Board_Manager/package_sparkfun_tiny_index.json

The boards should show up in the Boards Manager after adding that in the Additional Boards Manager URLs. I’m going to try to update the tutorial to make a note of that.](invalid package_sparkfun_index.json - SparkFun Electronics Forum)
