I received a pair of RP2040 processor boards today (batch #145245), and it seems like they’re finished with HASL instead of gold plating. Is this supposed to be the case? The NRF52840 processor boards I received in the same order are ENIG.
Hmmm, strange. Could you provide a photo of the issue?
Looks like the board fab house put the wrong plating on the boards. 
My guess is with supply chains being what they are, sparkfun went ahead and used the PCBs with the wrong plating rather than possibly waiting an extended amount of time waiting for the correct plated boards to arrive? They should still work the same as the gold plated boards though.
Yellowdog is correct. They products should work the same despite different plating on the pins.
