Hi there! I bought two SparkFun Facets a few months ago from DigiKey and am having difficulties with one of the units. I read some similar posts here already and copied their issue template. I am wondering if I got a defective unit.
Observations:
The unit will start up and turn on so that I can see the standard display screen. After it connects via Bluetooth to my device, the unit immediately becomes bricked. It cannot be connected to via Bluetooth, and the device refuses to power off or be reset.
Checked:

battery is charged and charging works

disconnected battery to give it a fresh reboot, but it immediately gets stuck again

cables look good visually inside

outside button itself works, inside one works as well
Next steps:
Has anyone else had this issue and know what to do? The only thing that has resolved it before is leaving the unit till it completely drains its battery and retrying to connect.
