RTK Facet with telemetry adapter to ardupilot flight controller

Hello, I have a question about the RTK Facet in combination with an Ardupilot drone. I can connect a normal telemetry adapter to the base station, but is it possible to connect the receiver directly to the flight controller, or does this only work if I connect it directly to the GNSS receiver on the drone?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I’m not certain I fully understand the questiong, but you’d have to check the flight controller’s docs to see (if you mean hooking a radio to the flight controller instead of to a regular ‘rover’ unit) if it has pins available for such.

Keep in mind you could always test it while having the drone powered on but not flying (and just go physically move the drone around during testing) if that helps (so an untested/experimental setup is less risky without it being in the air!)

It would be useful if the facet could broadcast through WiFi to the drone controller while conducting a mission. I’m sure it would shorten battery life but would open up a whole new application for the facet. It would make the facet a base for RTP equipt DJI, Autel and other drones that take corrections via the controller.
