Hello, I need an RTK solution that’s not made in China due to government restrictions. I purchased the RTK Surveyor kit but it came wrapped in a plastic sleeve that said made in China. Is the RTK Surveyor actually made in China or is it just the case or something like that?
If it is made in China, are any of the other Spark Fun RTK products made in the US or outside of China?

It’s probably just the case, Sparkfun makes the boards inside but some of the components on the boards inside probably originate in China.
@sparky would be able to tell you for sure but I’m 99.9% certain it’s all assembled in Colorado, USA.
Most uBlox modules are built in Austria, company HQ Switzerland
IC’s I think TSMC / Taiwan
As far as I know, there isn’t a RTK GNSS actually Made in the USA.
But for the purposes of Government Procurement, a few of the Big Name manufacturers use a few loopholes to be able to claim it.
But the individual widgets inside are sourced Globally.
Welcome Jimmit! For the purposes of your question, the RTK Surveyor unit itself is manufactured at our facility in Boulder, CO USA using parts from all over the world. The other question you are likely to hit is where the GNSS receiver is made, and as folks have pointed out, that’s made by u-blox out of their plant in Austria.
