When I connect up the unit there is no response. Nothing on the status light and nothing on the little screen.
Can you tell me what I might be doing wrong?

If that’s not something you want to do, please return the unit to us and we’ll get it fixed up and back to you as quickly as possible.

What is the procedure for returning the unit?

When I connect the reference station to the computer with the usb cable it does not register a COM port.
No lights show on the reference station.
Apologies for the inconvenience. I’m really embarrassed that we sent you poorly programmed unit.
Please check you are connecting the USB cable to the “CONFIG ESP32” port - not the “CONFIG UBLOX” port, or the rear power port. The COM port should appear as soon as you do that. If it does not, please check you are using that cable which came with the unit. There are some USB cables which are “charging cables” (power only) and do not provide a data connection.
It is OK that you are not seeing any lights. The OLED display and the green LED are both controlled by the ESP32. They will both remain off until the ESP32 is configured correctly.

I bought the reference station through a NZ company so I will return it to them.
