RTK Reference Station vs. build-your-own

(Newbie here - first post)

Just starting a new project where I need an RTK base station and a mobile RTK receiver.

Is there any functional difference between the RTK Reference Station (GPS-22429) and building my own base station using a NEO-MBP-2 (Other than the convenience of the pre-assembled unit)?

Also, what type of antenna is included with the RTK Station?

The reference station uses the F9P SparkFun GPS-RTK2 Board - ZED-F9P (Qwiic) - GPS-15136 - SparkFun Electronics which has ~1.5cm accuracy with RTK, while the M8P will have ~2.5cm accuracy with RTK

The included antenna is the one shown in the photo; GNSS Multi-Band L1/L2/L5 Surveying Antenna - TNC (SPK6618H) - GPS-21801 - SparkFun Electronics
