RV-1805 DIODE and ROUT settings

Hello,

I’m using an RV-1805 with a QWIIC shield. I’ve set the time with the example sketch provided. It’s all working fine.

My question is: Are the DIODE and ROUT settings persistent? Meaning, if I rtc.enableTrickleCharge with a particular DIODE and ROUT setting, set the time, then load a different sketch - for example the Blink sketch, will the supercapacitor continue to trickle charge with those settings? Or, are they “lost” when I load another sketch or cycle the power to the Arduino, and the capacitor stops charging?

I don’t know if they are persistent after a power cycle, but as long as you don’t manually change them before loading a new sketch they shouldn’t change at all as long as power isn’t interrupted.
