I have just purchased a SAM7-EX256 Development Board. I am trying to figure out what would be the best combination of IDE, Software and JTAG programmer. Does anyone have any experience or reccomendations on which I should pick and why? Thanks.

samt7utils, linux utility to flash the board through USB. Very handy and easy to use flashing utility.

CodeSourcery GNU toolchain LITE which is free to use. Command line utility, you can find instructions on the net how to start working with it. We use it at work, once the makefile and toolchain is set up it can’t get any easier.
