SAMD21 Qwiic Micro, failed to kick into bootloader mode

Have been working on this QWIIC Micro board, I have 2 but one I am giving to a friend to use. Of the two, one has stop responding on the device driver window. I no longer see it as either UF2 or regular device as a comport. I am not sure what’s going on? Any thoughts?

I have checked the voltage rails, I see the VDDCORE voltage its 1.2V, board voltages seem normal compared to the other working board. The reset button pulls the reset line to ground completely, and the power LED turns on.

Never see the blue led flash. The chip is getting power but doesn’t seem to start. Wonder if there is any brainstorming I am missing to debug this before I get a new board. Any help is appreciated.

There are a couple snags to watch out for with that board, poke through the TS guide for samd21 here SAMD21 Mini/Dev Breakout Hookup Guide - SparkFun Learn and see if one of those 3 methods get it goin’

Thank you for the reply, I tried the above mentioned task. Double clicking he reset button, updating drivers (not able to update directly because the USB device doesn’t even enumerate) and the closing all arduino based applications and rebooting.

Alrighty, it sounds like it might be dead :-/ How old is it?

Unfortunately about a month or so, but this is the first week I started to use it  so I just noticed

I looked up your order/date and such and am going to help you out a bit by sending replacement unit - you should get an email in a few days when it ships.
