SCD30 temperature and humidity accuracy

I’ve been comparing this sensor to some DHT22 sensors that I have. All my DHT22s report the same values within the precision of the data sheet. I have no way to independently verify their accuracy. The SCD30 reads 1.5-2 degrees higher, so this difference is outside the accuracy range of their datasheets. I can adjust the SCD30 temperature reading using the temperature offset. But even after that, the SCD humidity reading is about 10-15% lower in relative terms, 10% in absolute terms, to the DHT22.

Has anyone tested the accuracy of either the DHT22 or SCD30 for temperature or humidity or compared them to a know accurate source.

TIA,

Evan.

HI I have used the SCD30 with different sensors. One of the document that compares against others (but not DHT22) is https://github.com/paulvha/SVM30_on_ras … pberry.odt). Note : When you do a temperature / humidity sensor test a makes sure that the air is moving along the sensor (either natural or forced with a small fan). It does not need to be windforce 11 however…

Interesting data - your sensors are closer together for humidity than mine. My sensors should have good airflow because they are not in a case yet.

If I put them next to each other on a table I larger differences in the reading, then we applying a old, small processor fan.
