secondary jtag port

Hello,

I have a LPC-P1 and the ARM-JTAG. I use crossstudio as IDE. I set the PINSEL for JTAG. But the Wiggler says, that the target is not responding. Did you try this? Is there a problem with the TDO/P0.31 pin? what should i do with the rtck-pin of the ARM-JTAG? I open DEBUG-JTAG and BSL- jumper.

Because LPC-P1 uses primary JTAG interface, just forget PINSEL. RTCK is driven by debugging software. P0.31 is button input, you can use it in your application.

There are some settings:

DEBUGGING and CHIP PROGRAMMING via JTAG:

Settings for CrossStudio:

  • Targets = Macraigor Wiggler (20 pin)

Jumpers on LPC-P1:

  • DBGSEL short, BSL open

CHIP PROGRAMMING with Philips Flash Utility via RS232:

Jumpers on LPC-P1:

  • DBGSEL open, BSL short, push RESET (smaller button) when asked

NORMAL OPERATION:

Jumpers on LPC-P1:

  • DBGSEL open, BSL open
