What software is in this IC? Looking at the Segger website it looks like it could be one of the following:
J-Link-OB-K22-Cortex-M
J-Link-OB-K22-Cortex-A
J-Link-OB-K22-RISCV
J-Link-OB-K22-Full

Eh, looks like M? https://cdn.sparkfun.com/assets/e/e/7/d … -15696.pdf
I believe the MK22FN128VLH10 chip itself is cortex M as this suggests but this seems to be from the chip manufacturer and doesn’t mention it’s programming capability/J-Link. Is this part listing just for that chip with no software and incorrectly labelled Segger J-Link?
Here’s a link to the Segger website which has a table of different J-Link on board variants: https://www.segger.com/products/debug-p … j-link-ob/
The top entry of this table suggests that the MK22FN128VLH10 can be used as a J-Link on board but would need the Segger custom software in order to do so (and there are 4 variants of this software).
So, yes…the listing appears to be just for the chip and the end-user flashes whichever flavor they’d like…but I don’t believe it is mis-labeled because the segger website has J-Link OB highlighted as just being chips + serial stuff on the board https://c.a.segger.com/fileadmin/_proce … 7.png.webp
I think it’d be wrong if we titled it a ‘probe’
Let me know if we do in fact need to correct something
