Setup question for EMG-Based Finger Reading using MyoWare 2.0 Muscle Sensors

Hi,
I am currently working on a research project focused on EMG-based finger reading and am looking to read data from 4 muscle sensors. I am considering purchasing 1 MyoWare 2.0 Wireless Shield DEV-23387 along with 4 MyoWare 2.0 muscle sensors.

Would this setup be sufficient for my project, where I need to capture muscle data from the following muscles for 4 fingers?

Muscle Mapping & Electrode Placement:

  • Flexor Digitorum Superficialis (FDS): Detects finger flexion for Braille numbers 1–5 (Forearm – flexor side)
  • Thenar Muscle: Detects thumb pinch for Braille number 6 (Palm base near thumb)
  • Hypothenar Muscle: Detects index-thumb pinch for app shortcuts (Palm base near pinky)
  • Extensor Digitorum (ED): Detects swipe gestures for navigation (Forearm – extensor side)

Also, is it possible to power both the 4 MyoWare 2.0 muscle sensors and the ESP32 using a a single MyoWare 2.0 Wireless Shield DEV-23387 or do I need separate setup for the power (e.g., LiPo battery with boost converter to step up to 5V)? would it be sufficient to get the readings for all 4 fingers simultaneously?
