Simple DIY question - circuit board usb connection

Wanting to repair my TV see picture:

Needing to replace the usb port on my TV could anyone tell me what I should may need to know or what I should definitely not do.

Can I solder the USB without needing to flip the board?

How do I know what part I need ( faulty part lost)?

Can I break the tv ?

Thanks

It’s difficult to tell whether it’s a perfect match but this looks close:

Otherwise, you could use a breakout like this:

… and run some small wires to the circuit board.

And, yes, it is absolutely possible to further damage the circuit board.

Hey thank you for answering.

With the first link would it require any shouldering or would it just be the case of looping the lips from the underside?

Yes, it definitely would need to be soldered, both the connections and the mounting tabs.

The first option is more suitable, in theory, with correct soldering of all the legs and taking into account that the tracks on the board are not damaged, everything should work. The only thing that is important is that the usb female form factor and the board match, otherwise it may be difficult to mount it;)
