Single-Board Computers for Remote Application

Seeking suggestions on which compute/r board would be best suited for our remote data logger application.

Application:

  1. Remote cellular modem with1WAN, 2LAN ports, and WIFI.
  2. Data logger has a Wi-Fi or USB connection.
  3. The data logger has its own software used for configuration and live viewing.
  4. I would like to use my PC with the datalogger software open to access the remote data logger.

What computer board is recommended to be placed at the remote location to allow me to access the USB or WIFI data logger?

It might be worth grabbing a used laptop or similar to accommodate that feature list

Looking for something smaller. Raspberry Pi Compute Module?

I completely forgot about the extra LAN port that has, excellent idea! Adding the Compute Module to a Pi 5 should work. There are also many GPS-ingesting libraries available for Pi
