Give the minimum drill and pad sizes, how do I mount a SIP device that has 0.05" pin spacing? This device is not an SMD device, but 0.05" pin space seems to make it impossible to build on a board with 8 mil clearences? Any advice? (The device is the HMC1021Z magnetometer)
Not sure I understand the problem. Wouldn’t you just use a .020 hole with .040 pad (.050 on center obviously) giving you .010 clearance which passes the 8 mil requirement?
