smd header pin?

Hi there,

I could not find a smd header pins. If you know of any source please let me know. I would appreciate it.

I am looking for an smd header pin with low profile and with a distance of 2.50 mm between the pins. It should be two row. I am going to use it to connect the AVR ISP programmer cable to it. Thanks

Regards

Don’t you mean 2.54 mm (0.1")?

On the development board of ATmega128, I measured the pins that are connected to AVR ISP programmer cable with a caliper. It turned out to be 2.50 mm. What I want is header pins that can be connected to the cable of ISP programmer for programming. Thanks

I suspect they are 2.54mm, as that is the standard for AVR ISP connectors. Digi-Key has a large variety of surface mount 2.54mm pitch pin headers.

Did you measure them inside-to-inside? Measuring male header pitch is a two-step process with calipers, (inside_to_inside + pin width) or (outside_to_outisde - pin width).

If you look inside the .pdf file: http://www.sparkfun.com/datasheets/AVR/avr-h128b.pdf you will see, it states the pins have a 0,1" pitch.

Thanks everybody. Your answers were very helpful. I think my measurement of 2.50 mm is wrong and I will go with the 2.54 mm. Thanks a lot.
