Sound Detector on 12V supply

Hi there,

I can see that the LMV324 using in the SparkFun Sound Detector has a MAX Power Supply Operating Range of 5.5V.

Anyone see any issues with replacing the LMV324 for a LM324 which will handle up to 32V (single) supply? I’d like to operate it at 12VDC for a demo project, then use a similar circuit in my our design if all goes well.

I do not think it is feasible. If you replace LMV324, with LM324, you will also need to change the values of all the resistors and capacitors connected. If you design your own board with LM324, you will face lesser trouble I think.
