Spark fun 4.1 and MacBook Pro Issues

I have been having trouble getting my Arduino software to upload code to my spark fun kit. I am using a MacBook pro. I am not sure if it is a port issue that could be resolved easily or if it is something else, possibly a bad board. When I go to upload code to the board I get an error message that I will attach in this submission.

Error message:

Have you installed the CH340 driver for Mac yet? What port name are you selecting in the Ports menu?

I do not believe that I have that installed. I will include a screenshot of my ports options in the Arduino software.

What I’d do is unplug the board and go back into the ports menu and see if one of those entries disappears. If one does, select that after you’ve plugged the board back in.

If nothing changes when you unplug the board and go to ports, you will need to install the CH340 driver, the instructions for doing that can be found in the [hookup guide.](https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/how-to-install-ch340-drivers#mac-osx)
