Hi,
I am using a raspberry pi that communicates with 2 sparkfun 9dof boards and receives serial data from them. The sparkfun boards are also connected to 800 mah, 3.7v lipo batteries. Occasionally (most of the time this issue doesn’t show up) when both sparkfun boards are connected to the raspberry pi, their charging lights starts flickering and the boards won’t stay connected to the pi. Any ideas on why this might be happening?
How are they connected to your Pi? Pictures and a schematic would be helpful.
Faulty wiring, weak batteries, code problems.
They are connected to the raspberry Pi through the usb ports. I’ve been using the same batteries for about a week now. And I’m experiencing the issue only now. I understand that it could be a coding issue, but not able to pinpoint where exactly.
Might try removing the batteries from the razors, you shouldn’t need them when they are connected via USB anyway. As long as each razor has power, it shouldn’t lose connection. You might have a problem with the software running on your pi that causes a disconnect.
