It looks like you have the polarity on your battery backwards.
At best, it just won’t work but it’s possible you’ve blown the charger IC by connecting the battery backwards.
Double check your wiring and confirm that + from the battery is going to + on the board and the same for -.
Sadly you can’t always trust the wire colors .

I switched the cables and now the battery seems to work and it also switches automatically from the power to the battery and vice versa,
But the blue light of the charge status is still not working, could it be because the battery is still full ?
That would either be because the battery is full and doesn’t need charging yet, or you could possibly have damaged the charger IC by connecting the battery backwards. If it doesn’t come on with a low battery, chances are good the charger IC is bad and you’d need to replace the board.
