I’ve got the [Battery Babysitter hooked up and it seemed to be working okay until the battery got low for the first time. I plugged in a 5V, 3A power supply to the micro-USB port and, nothing happens. The (blue) charge LED blinked on for a brief moment, then off. Power (red) LED stays lit continuously with either the battery or the USB hooked up (or both).
I have the slide switch set to ON and the dip switches for charge rate set to USB500 (1-off, 2-on). Not sure what else I could be missing. I don’t have any of the other pins hooked up so far, but from what I can tell shouldn’t need those to enable simple charging.
Any thoughts opinions feelings about what I need to try?

I charged the battery last night with another charger, it’s reading 4.06V this AM (was reading 3.6 when I started trying to charge) so I don’t believe the battery has any kind of problem preventing charging either.
Hello, and thanks for posting!
Could be a bad board, but let’s try this:
What happens if you set both switches to ON?
Also, what voltage do you measure at the battery terminals? If it’s too low, the battery might not be rechargeable with this particular charger.
@TS-Chris, I measured 4.06V at the battery terminals this AM, so I don’t believe that’s the problem. I started with the 2 dip switches both ON and have since tried all combinations (though I realize that both OFF is intended to stop charging). The behavior doesn’t change regardless of dip switch position.
I ordered another board and another battery that should arrive tomorrow, that will let me A/B test them and hopefully get a better result and evidence on what’s not right.
Let me know if the new board works where the old one won’t and I’ll see what I can do for you on this end.

Will follow up once I get it, thanks!
Quick update, new battery arrived - identical symptoms. New board now due to arrive tomorrow, will test and update again.
Mystery solved!
I got a new Battery Babysitter in the mail today, plugged it in, and it works like a champ. So, somehow the first one is bad or dead.
Appreciate you being responsive @TS-Chris!
Glad to hear the new one works!
If you got the old one from us, PM me your order or invoice number and I’ll refund you for that one.
