I am a proud owner of a SparkFun Battery Babysitter, which works well.
I would like to use it to for very low power projects. To make power savings can the LEDs be configured off or can I just remove these?

You can cut the Power LED’s jumper on the bottom of the board and leave it open to keep the LED disconnected. However, the charge LED will have to be removed if you want that one off as well.
