Hello,

Complete noob question.

I have recently purchased a few of these boards along with item “FTDI Cable 5V VCC-3.3V I/O - DEV-09717”.

I am trying to use the Arduino IDE to upload the example script to the board but it keeps failing to upload. I have tried both (LilyPad Arduino, LilyPad Arduino USB) board types. with the default Programmer (AVRISP mkll). The IDE is seeing the Serial Port and I have installed the latest FTDI drivers.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS. I am Running Win10.

In the Arduino IDE, go to preferences and turn on verbose output on upload. Copy and paste the error in CODE tags, please.

Are you trying with the MKII or with the FTDI? The MKII will delete the bootloader so you will need to burn it before using FTDI.

Also make sure you have selected the right programmer under tools.

I have tried to burn the bootloader and still getting the same “programmer is not responding” error what programmer should i be using?
