Sparkfun Facet (as a Rover) doesn't save config changes permanently?

Hello everyone. I am somewhat new to the Facet and after a struggle (short but frustrating) it seems either I misunderstand or this feature is not as expected.

When I enter the GNSS options and update the RWX area, it says “saved” but if you power cycle they are not retained? So, I tried again pretty certain I did it correctly, this time using the second preset option, saw the updates, saved. On a third attempt, I made sure the SD was inserted and ready to capture, hit the presets, saved, and rather than power cycle, I exit/reset and got the desired results!

Is this an intended design, feature, bug, etc? Just so I know - I have friends that borrow and it makes it cumbersome for less technical or acclimated folks.

Thank you,

Ray

Update:

By using the SD-Card and the “Profiles” (which offers selection at startup) I have managed to save the settings. Now, I have collected many samples and converted the UBX to RINEX (KernelSat) for submission to CSRS.

My disappointment is that the results appear to drift by a large margin. The RINEX file does NOT show the ANT attributes:

    0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 ANTENNA: DELTA H/E/N

Another topic in the help suggests a manual edit in the OBS file “HFX6618”. If anyone has the appropriate record I can substitute I am hoping it will resolve this wild drift and finally provide solid PPP.

Thank you!
