Sparkfun HX711 - Powering with 5V VCC and 3.3V VDD

Hi,

I have a Sparkfun HX711 connected to an ESP32, VDD to 3.3v and DCC to VIN (From USB), this obviously won’t work when on battery power. Does the module need close to 5V has possible or can I power it from the 18650 LiPo?

Should I use a 5V boost converter for best sensor reading accuracy?

Datasheet lists 2.6 to 5.5 volts for all power supplies so 3.3 should be fine for both. Give it a try and see how it works. (You won’t break anything by trying)
