Sparkfun Inventors Kits: Set up issue with moving SIK_guide_code folder to Arduino folder

I’m new to this so forgive my ignorance. I bought the Inventors kit and I’m trying to set it up right now. On page 7 of the accompanying booklet, step 4 says to download “SIK Guide Code” and then move this newly downloaded folder into the “Examples” folder within the “Arduino” folder. Like this, “Local Disk C: —> Program Files —> Arduino —> Examples.” But the problem is, I don’t have an Arduino folder in my local disk. I have 2 Arduino folders in my normal Documents folder. One just called “Arduino” and another one right below it called “Arduino Data.” The only thing in the first “Arduino” folder is another folder called “libraries” and in the “Arduino Data” folder it has some random odds and ends like a “cache” folder and “logs” folder. So where am I supposed to save this “SIK Guide Code” folder? I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the Arduino IDE software cause I thought I may have changed the location accidentally of the “Arduino” folder when initially downloading Arduino IDE software but that didn’t do anything. Is this an old instruction booklet and the software has been updated or changed?

Actually ,where have you installed your arduino IDE? In which drive? If you install the IDE in C drive, there must be a folder named ‘arduino’ in the C drive. It can be found following the path as shown in your booklet. But as you are saying, you can’t see any such folder, is there any chance that your arduino IDE is installed in some other drive? For example, the D drive maybe?
