I had this working a few years ago. I’m trying again, starting from scratch. The fundamental problem is that Arduino IDE 1.8.19 and 2.x do not see the Sparkfun ESP32 board type to select, even though I have the correct JSON file in the Preferences.
I’ve tried on Linux and Windows 11.
