Hi,
Iβm interested to buy the Sparkfun mp3 player, but I have 3 questions :
-
I would need to output music through a 1/4 audio Jack (6.35mm), can I wire my audio jack to β- R Lβ ? Here is the jack I have : https://www.conrad.fr/fr/p/jack-6-35-mm β¦ 32931.html
-
Is the card accessible through connecting the Arduino to the computer, or is it necessary to put the card out with a special reader ?
-
I see on the pictures that the Arduino is not the classic one, do you confirm that it works with an Arduino Uno ?
Thanks
1- Yes, you can connect your 1/4" jack to the board through the β-β, βRβ, and βLβ pins.
2- The shield is accessible to the Arduino in that the Arduino sends commands to the shield to tell it what track to play. A computer is used to program the Arduino with the instructions that the Arduino uses to control the shield. Your computer doesnβt directly control the shield but can be used in conjunction with software you program in the Arduino to make the shield play tracks. (The [hookup guides are your friend here)
3- Any Uno R3 or Uno R3 clone will work. Some other Arduino boards might work. Stick to an Uno or Uno clone for the easiest path.](https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/mp3-player-shield-hookup-guide-v15)
Hi,
Thanks a lot for your answer,
Beest Regards,
Olivier
I realize it might be a lot for my needs,
I have a raspberry Zero, and Iβm looking for an audio hat where I could wire a mono output jack 1/4,
which of your product would you advise me ?
will I need resistor to wire my jack ?
Best Regards,
Olivier
