If I use this on an Arduino Uno, will that give me a total of more than 16 output pins or only 16? How many total?

There’s only 8 channels on the breakout. The best you can gain is 8.

Thanks, so if I use 2 to get 16, can I use 4 more pins on the Uno to get a total of 20?

8+8 is 16 but keep in mind each board Also uses up three of your arduino pins to function.
