SparkFun OpenLog Artemis DEV-16832 Open Source Hardware , not detectecting i2c devices -on comp list

Produce: SparkFun OpenLog Artemis DEV-16832 Open Source Hardware

I purchased 2 of these loggers. One worked out of the box; detected attached I2C sensors and started logging. All good.

My second logger does not detect the same sensors. It only appears to log the builtin sensors. All i2c sensors are on the

auto detect list.

So far I:

  1. Downloaded Artemis Firmware Up loader GUI from Github, and Open Log_Artemis-V10-v15.bin firmware file.

  2. used the uploaded to install firmware file. It completed.

  3. rebooted the Open logger.

Still no detected i2c devices. I used the console to power down the logger. And restarted. Same.

Note that the logger does show the internal devices data as being logged (per console display.

Any ideas. I have test equipment.

OK, while connecting an analyze to the i2c port I discover a defective i2c connector. Replaced the connector; all is good. Should of check the connector before opening this.
