Sparkfun Power Delivery Board USB-C [Qwiic] DEV-15801 questions

Hello!

I have a question regarding https://www.sparkfun.com/products/15801 . Basically the pages for setting the thing up makes perfect sense. But suppose I do not have the suggested power supply for making it initially work.

Can I use the one originally nominated for the Raspberry Pi 4 design?

Not typically; those power supplies are generally ~5v @ 3A (15W), which won’t provide enough to make full use of the Power Delivery Board…something like this https://www.amazon.com/Nekteck-Certifie … 192&sr=8-3 or a similar high-wattage USB-C power adapter would work…or any 20v 5a regulated power supply

Hope this helps!

Hello!

Yes Actually it does. Turns out there’s a good inventory for the thing (no not the PS alternate) at Micro Center so I’m still working on an idea.
