Hi
I got two boards SparkFun Pro RF - LoRa, 915MHz and the antennas recommended on the website. I follow the hookup guide and able to program boards.
I used the code for the Server and Client provided in the guide for the Point to Point Communication (Point to Point Radio Arduino Examples). After programming each of the boards with the code, they dont communicate with each other - Client keeps sending the message repeatedly without getting any answer, and the Server keeps waiting for a message.
Moreover, the Reset button on the boards does not work…
Can you help me solving these problems?
Thanks in advance,
Gus
Hi Gus,
Sorry to hear you are having issues with both of your new Pro RF LoRa boards. Usually, this issue points to a connection problem with the antenna. Can you please provide a link and/or product number or name for the antennas you are using with your boards? Also, a common mistake is using the incorrect u.Fl adapter cable. Please verify your u.Fl adapter is converting to (most likely) an RP-SMA connection by checking the center pin is present. Similarly, make sure your u.Fl connector is securely fastened.
If everything I suggested above checks out, please take a few photos of your boards and the circuit you have them in (if applicable) and attach them to your reply. Please do your best to make sure they are clear and well-lit. One note, it looks like the “Attach File” tool for the Forums is having some trouble right now so if you have trouble attaching them to your post, you may need to host them elsewhere (Google Drive, Imgur, etc.) and link to them here.
