I have been using an RTK Surveyor with SW Maps and NTRIP or a Base station to survey cm level positions. If possible, I would like to survey positions that are located several meters inside of a metal building with similar accuracy. I could obtain a GPS RTK fix outside and then move the RTK express inside the building to the desired location. Would I still be able to obtain a similar accuracy position measurement?
GPS won’t work inside a metal building, the metal blocks GPS signals.
Yes, of course. That is why I am asking about the positional accuracy after loss of the GPS signal. This device also has inertial sensors designed to maintain positional accuracy after loss of GPS. I want to know how well this works. Can I maintain cm level positional accuracy for surveying points inside the metal building with this device? Will this work with the same android app that I use for measuring points using the other version without the inertial sensors?
