SparkFun Qwiic Shield Compatible with Teensy - 4.0, 3.2, or LC Footprint Compatible - 3.3V

It does say The Qwiic Shield for Teensy comes with the Teensy Header Kitand you will need to solder the headers to the shield and, if necessary, to your Teensy board but it does not appear to actually include all of those parts is the concern here.
Basically Teensy Header Kit PRT-13925 is included with SparkFun Qwiic Shield for Teensy DEV-17119 but the male/male pins are not, at least as far as we can tell. We certainly have parts we can use but it’s still more than slightly odd is all that it has photos of it and they are required but they are also not included either. https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/sp … e-assembly clarifies things a bit but also doesn’t really tell the user how to do this or indicate what parts are needed. Obviously SparkFun and Digikey and so forth sell these parts but it should be easier for a casual user to locate them is all or just include them with this part to begin with would be even more ideal.
As a side note, ideally, the Teensy 5.0 would include a single QWIIC connector to begin with.
Slight notation as well to consider correcting the description on the product page.
Teensy Header Kitand you
The last picture on the Amazon product page is an example of what you can build, not all those parts are included. You get the shield and the headers that are pictured.
If you have suggestions for the Teensy 5, you will need to direct those to PJRC, SparkFun has nothing to do with making Teensy’s.
I understand that SparkFun does not make Teensy products but can they stipulate future versions have a QWIIC connector (if they choose to do that) without getting permission to do so? The name is probably the legally complicated part although oddly enough Feather is used by SparkFun but Adafruit does not use QWIIC. The actual 4 pins parts are not made by SparkFun technically either and are also not proprietary or patented for that type of connection or anything special like that. This feels a bit like how now chargers are all USB and not super proprietary. Except some of the USB C ones are lower power than needed and that’s annoying in some cases and there are also certain revised USB C types as well and so forth so it’s not exactly perfectly universal.
Anyway, the majority of the concern if you even want to call it that here is making sure that the SparkFun part that is sold to use with the Teensy product line has all of the parts needed to actually use it is all. Ideally as photographed. That’s all. We get you can make it work, we just didn’t get that when we first looked at the product images and assumed it included them when it does not state that is not the case. Not a huge issue.
Also slightly unclear why the Essentials page of Teensy Header Kit PRT-13925 only lists a Teensy 3.2 and nothing else? Is it possible to add other Teensy versions that also work with it? Would help the customer if they want to buy a Teensy 4.0 instead for example.
