When I hit the ntrip stream button I get no mounts found. All the setting are right. I have a email out to system administrator for NC GNSS Cors verifying settings.
I finally got a RTK FIX H:0.276in V:551in. Almost gave up and decided to a factory default, that did it.
This is for my own notes and future readers: The folks at North Carolina NGS are terrific. With their help I was able to get RTK Float on the TX2 which is a success because I’m in Colorado (no where near the VRS system).
Lessons learned: The LG290P requires MSM4/5/6/7 messages. So use mountpoints VRS_RTCM34_MSM4 or VRS_RTCM34_MSM5. Additionally, the VRS requires GGA sentence to create a ‘local’ virtual station for your receiver. If you’re not in the state (or near a border) the VRS will never respond with data. We can fake this in pygpsClient with a Fixed Reference location within NC (again, thanks goes to the NC NGS staff for this).
Then RTK Float is achieved:
