SSOP8 PCB adaptor?

I bought a few pieces of this adaptor:

SparkFun SSOP to DIP Adapter - 8-Pin

BOB-00497

https://www.sparkfun.com/products/497

I thought it would fit my logic chip SN74LVC1G123DCTT with such a tiny package.

the pin spacing matches the adaptor’s, but not the package width.

I took a picture but could not find how to insert it here

I could solder thin wirewrap wires to connect the missing leads to the PCB, but it is not going to be a piece of cake.

which adaptor should rather fit my needs?

thank you!

When I look up your part number, it appears to have a SM-8 package and the pitch on that is 0.65.

SM-8 appears to be the same as SOT-505 or TSSOP-8. Might give an adapted for one of those a try, something like this might work:
