Stepper Motor Wiring Instructions

Hello:

This is my first post, please bear with me.

My robot setup =

A square box with one Nema 17 motor (https://www.oyostepper.com/category-6-b0-Nema-17-Stepper-Motor.html) at each of the four corners, connected to one wheel.

Question =

Should I wire the four motors separately, or connect two motors together and then connect them to the drive controller?

Usually you’d wire them separately except in some rare cases

Does your drive controller only have 2 outputs or something?
