I have searched through the sparkfun bluetooth modules but I haven’t found a module supporting the HID profile. The WRL-08469 features an ARM7 cpu but there is no info about how to access lower level bluetooth layers, needed to implement HID. I guess it’s possible though?
I’m reselling the BluePacket module, which uses the Broadcomm 2042 BT HID controller. It would be really REALLY great if Sparkfun wanted to do a breakout board for it. Really. Great. Have your people call me people, we’ll do lunch. http://russnelson.com/bluetooth-keyboar … oller.html

I believe the Bluegiga WT32 module supports the HID profile and I have purchased these from Sparkfun before. The module is not the same footprint as other modules it is a bit larger so beware.
