Are there any plans or even already some progress to implement support for the TI TMS470 Family in the openOCD Project? I think especially Flash programming will need some work.

debugging a TMS470 should already be supported, but flash writing would require a new flash driver to be written (like at91sam7.[ch], lpc2000.[ch]).
If you want to try adding this support yourself feel free to ask for help.
